Hot Lips Turtlehead Perennial – Chelone Lyonii – Quart Pot

Plants form dense upright clumps of attractive dark green foliage. Flowers bloom mid-late summer and resemble the shape of a turtle’s head. Grows best in moist soil. Plant near water or in the moist perennial border. A native selection with hot pink flowers, forms large clumps of glossy dark green foliage with reddish stems, spring foliage is tinged bronze but turns to dark green by summer, excellent for late summer color.
